Standard downspouts have ribs. Ours don’t.
Standard square downspouts leave visible longitudinal ribs down the exterior face, a tell that comes from how the profile is formed. The Delery Smooth design forms a broad, smooth exterior face with matching smooth elbows, for a finish that reads as architectural grade rather than off-the-shelf metal.

What shops usually ask us first.
A standard square downspout leaves visible longitudinal ribs down the exterior face, a tell of how the profile was formed. The Delery Smooth design forms a broad, smooth exterior face with matching smooth-faced elbows, which reads as architectural grade rather than off-the-shelf metal.
Our 3x4 Downspout Line (YB458) has published specifications and is the closest thing to a standard offering. Every panel machine is engineered around your specific profile, and other configurations in the downspout family are built to order.
A typical line includes the decoiler, guide device, roll forming machine, protective cover, cutting and shearing (with bending and necking where needed), length measurement and quantity recording, PLC control, and an output table. Automation and robotic handling can be specified into the build.
The Del Port line includes the Deep W (12 inch), Insulated (16 inch, mechanically locked seams), Quad 16 Flat (16 inch, soffit-like look), and Triple Tri W (24 inch, labor-saving install), all with a 20-year baked-on enamel warranty.
Yes. Rebuilds and retooling are a regular part of our work, the same as we’ve done on our own equipment for over 45 years.
Yes. We’re with you beyond the purchase, with setup guidance, training and ongoing support, since we have to keep our own lines running on this same equipment every day.

A roll forming machine feeds a continuous strip of metal coil through a series of roller stands that gradually shape it into a finished profile, such as a downspout, wall panel or soffit panel. A cutting station then trims each piece to length. Delery Metal Forming designs and builds these lines in Harahan, Louisiana.
Delery Metal Forming (CJ Delery Roll Forming Systems) is at 925 Sams Ave, Harahan, Louisiana 70123, just outside New Orleans. Machines are built and test-run on the same shop floor where the company has manufactured aluminum products since 1981. Call (504) 733-1876 to reach the shop.
The YB458 runs at 12 m/min (about 39.4 ft/min) on 0.4 mm material up to 500 mm wide. It needs 240 V, 60 Hz, 3-phase power at approximately 14.5 kW, hydraulic pressure of 16 MPa and compressed air at 0.6 to 1.2 MPa. The line is about 54.9 x 5.0 x 7.4 ft with a decoiler rated up to 3 metric tons.
Delery Smooth design downspout lines cover sizes from 2x3 to 6x6, with matching smooth-faced elbow forming equipment. Round and square downspout configurations are available, and lines outside the published 3x4 YB458 are built to order.
